You must carry a valid motorcycle license. International Driving Permit (IDP) with motorcycle endorsement or a Thai motorcycle license is required for legal riding. RentBikePhuket will not rent to riders without appropriate documentation.
Riders must be at least 21 years old. For high-performance models (BMW, Ducati, KTM) we require a minimum of 2 years’ riding experience and may request proof. RentBikePhuket reserves the right to refuse rental if we judge a rider unprepared for a specific bike.
A refundable security deposit is required and varies by model (typically ฿5,000–฿40,000). We accept major credit cards and cash (฿). Deposit is returned on vehicle inspection at return if no damage or violations are found.
Basic third-party insurance is included per Thai law. It does not fully cover damage to the rented motorcycle or the rider. We strongly recommend purchasing supplemental collision damage waiver (CDW) and personal accident coverage—available at RentBikePhuket during booking.
Bikes are provided with a full tank and should be returned full. Fuel costs are charged at local pump rates if not refilled. We do not enforce a daily mileage limit for typical tourism use; extended hires can be discussed at booking.
Yes. All rentals include one DOT/ECE-certified helmet. Additional helmets, jackets, and accessories are available for rent. We maintain helmets and gear to high hygiene and safety standards at RentBikePhuket.
We offer 24/7 roadside assistance for mechanical issues and can arrange recovery in Phuket. In case of an accident, notify RentBikePhuket immediately, contact local emergency services if needed, and complete an incident report. Insurance and CDW terms will apply to claims.
